Soooo Excited... I love Fridays Not because its the weekend but because Ghost Whisperer is on, Numbers is on, and We are that much closer to Desperate Housewives on Sunday. LOL I have a Question.. What happened to all the shows on Saturday. I swear the ONLY thing on anymore on Saturday is Saturday Night Live.. and has anyone noticed thats not even that funny anymore? it was the best when it was Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Dan Ackroid, Chris Farley, David Spade, Adam Sandler... but Recently.... I am just not into it.. I would rather watch something else.

TV talk about Noggin...

Well its Fall and Noggin is in the mood for it. :) I Sing along with MOOSE T MOOSE when he sings about it every time LOL "Feel Like Im Fallin for Fall" LOL so What shows are on Noggin that your kids enjoy?

My kids love to watch.... Upside down Show( i just wish there were MORE than the 5 shows they show all the time!!!) Lazy town was on Nickjr.. but its on Noggin now too, They LOVE Maggie and Ferocious Beast( I like it too), they like Max and Ruby( I DO NOT!!! I think Ruby is Bossy and has NO patience and MEAN!!! I want to SLAP HER!!! and MAX is a whinny little thing and I Sure hope that my kids do NOT pick up that from that show. LOL I only let them watch it because they actually sit down to watch it and they aren't FIGHTING!! LOL) Franklin they will watch if its on(is also one I find completely annoying, Franklin is very whinny to me and always begging for something.. but they seem to like it and keeps them from Fighting. LMAO) Oswald they love and will sit thru the whole thing and will even play along.(I like Oswald I think it stimulates CREATIVITY!!) Dora, Deigo, Pinky Dinky Doo, and Blues Clues are by far their favorite Mostly because they can interact with them better and Love to hear them do it:)

Alright dont get me wrong they do NOT sit still all morning and I dont just turn the TV to keep them busy while I am on here.. They have full reign of the main floor(Except Curtis' Room, Beans' Room(because it has a closet and I dont want them locking themselves in) and the Bathroom because I dont want them climbing in the dryer... But they have 2 TVs set to different shows and all their toys to play with While watching Noggin (or the Boomerang Channel on the other TV) anyway.. while they are watching the TV I clean and play on the computer.. When Nap time comes for Beans... Then I HOPEFULLY get to Watch Days.. If it happens to be on at that time LOL :)

DAYS fans.... I just have to say... as much as the name is bad.. I think EJ is AMAZING!!! And I agree Lucus is AMAZING too.. But come on... Lucus seems to be getting in that routine of old man.. same thing today as yesterday.. and EJ just STEAMS with passion... YUM!!! LOL :)

Survivor Fans... yeah.. I wanted that Wrestler chick to go last time.. She just seems to be lazy and was getting by with TOOOOO MUCH!!! I think being a wrestler has ruined her ablity to know when things should given to you and when you need TEAMWORK with an emphasis on WORK!!! And Yes.. the other guy.. Needs to be Checked and someone needs to stand up and say..... HEY DO NOT treat me like CRAP, BACK OFF!

Kid Nation fans.... Not only is this show an Awesome one.. but its a learning experience for my son as well... he said he really liked watching it.. and I think he SEEN how kids can be... and is learning from that.. And he even commented on how they didn't help much and how they acted.. so Hopefully he will see their mistakes and do better for himself and others. kwim? :) I can't help but get tears each show because you Realize these kids really do miss their parents and they are working so hard and getting a HUGE lesson in responsibility and Seeing how others are and maybe seeing how they HAD been before.. Like seeing it in a new light.. they are seeing they bad things in other kids and realizing that maybe they were that way with their parents.. I know that has to be eye opening to each of them kids!! GREAT SHOW cant wait for more!!

Paul Revere's Ride

Listen, my children, and you shall hear Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere, On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five: Hardly a man is now alive Who remembers that famous day and year. He said to his friend, "If the British march By land or sea from the town to-night, Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry-arch Of the North-Church-tower, as a signal-light,-- One if by land, and two if by sea; And I on the opposite shore will be, Ready to ride and spread the alarm Through every Middlesex village and farm, For the country-folk to be up and to arm." Then he said "Good night!" and with muffled oar Silently rowed to the Charlestown shore, Just as the moon rose over the bay, Where swinging wide at her moorings lay The Somerset, British man-of-war: A phantom ship, with each mast and spar Across the moon, like a prison-bar, And a huge black hulk, that was magnified By its own reflection in the tide. Meanwhile, his friend, through alley and street Wanders and watches with eager ears, Till in the silence around him he hears The muster of men at the barrack door, The sound of arms, and the tramp of feet, And the measured tread of the grenadiers Marching down to their boats on the shore. And lo! as he looks, on the belfry's height, A glimmer, and then a gleam of light! He springs to the saddle, the bridle he turns, But lingers and gazes, till full on his sight A second lamp in the belfry burns! A hurry of hoofs in a village-street, A shape in the moonlight, a bulk in the dark, And beneath from the pebbles, in passing, a spark Struck out by a steed that flies fearless and fleet: That was all! And yet, through the gloom and the light, The fate of a nation was riding that night; And the spark struck out by that steed, in his flight, Kindled the land into flame with its heat. He has left the village and mounted the steep, And beneath him, tranquil and broad and deep, Is the Mystic, meeting the ocean tides; And under the alders, that skirt its edge, Now soft on the sand, now load on the ledge, Is heard the tramp of his steed as he rides. It was twelve by the village clock When he crossed the bridge into Medford town. He heard the crowing of the cock, And the barking of the farmer's dog, And felt the damp of the river-fog, That rises when the sun goes down. It was one by the village clock, When he galloped into Lexington. He saw the gilded weathercock Swim in the moonlight as he passed, And the meeting-house windows, blank and bare, Gaze at him with a spectral glare, As if they already stood aghast At the bloody work they would look upon. It was two by the village clock, When be came to the bridge in Concord town. He heard the bleating of the flock, And the twitter of birds among the trees, And felt the breath of the morning breeze Blowing over the meadows brown. And one was safe and asleep in his bed Who at the bridge would be first to fall, Who that day would be lying dead, Pierced by a British musket-ball. You know the rest. In the books you have read, How the British Regulars fired and fled,-- How the farmers gave them ball for ball, From behind each fence and farmyard-wall, Chasing the red-coats down the lane, Then crossing the fields to emerge again Under the trees at the turn of the road, And only pausing to fire and load. So through the night rode Paul Revere; And so through the night went his cry of alarm To every Middlesex village and farm,-- A cry of defiance, and not of fear, A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door, And a word that shall echo forevermore! For, borne on the night-wind of the Past, Through all our history, to the last, In the hour of darkness and peril and need, The people will waken and listen to hear The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed, And the midnight message of Paul Revere.
