Think Positive! collab kit
Once more the Let's scrap team has come up with a great collab kit. I have been thinking for some time about raising some money for a Down Syndrome organization,
the DS-Info Center, that has helped my family and a lot of people all over Germany a lot. You might know that our sweet little Sean has a chromosome too many and I would like to give some back to the people who help concerned families. Not only in the first few months, but they organize meetings, individual counseling, they arrange medical check-ups at very low cost on a regular basis, give out info material and have done a lot to make people aware of the fact that people with DS are not to be ignored.
I suggested to do a collab kit to raise some money to my friends at the Let's Scrap team and they were all enthusiastic about it. We created this "Think Positive!" kit and decided to offer it as a donation kit again. And we had so much stuff that we can even offer you a little sampler for it for free! My thanks go to Sonia, Kat, Nina, Leslie, Manu, Sabine and Conny who contributed to this kit.
The minimum donation for this kit 4$. We think this is a fair price, since the kit really is huge, about 280MB in zipped files. You can donate with the paypal button in the sidebar.
Just donate
an amount of your choice (4$ or more) and you will receive the download links in a separate email. Please be patient, it won't be automatically sent out, we have to do it manually, and sometimes real life comes first.
100% of the proceeds will go to the DS-Infocenter. This we guarantee. At the end of September, when we will stop selling the kit, I will post a copy of the bank transfer here on the blog, so you will see what we raised.

Curtis, started school and is loving it. He is having a great time with his teacher and friends. His best friend is in the same class as him this year.. You know.. they all have like 2 classes of the same grade... When I was growing up you were in your class and that was it. Now they have like 2 first grades, 2 second grades, 2 kindergartens.. Just Odd... anyway.. Its been fun for him and he loves to go to school.. I can't ask for much more than that.. OHHH yeah.. I can.. for a son that listens.. LOL He is really showing that male chromosome.. the MALE that can't hear one.. LOL Little turd! :)
The other 2 are doing good.. Not much new there.. they fight fight fight. LOL but I am hoping that means they will be pretty close when they are growing up.. depending on how they developed they could go to the same class.. Not sure tho.. LOL don't know if I want to hear all that tattle tailing.. Kyle got a bad grade on his test.. or Clint has a girlfriend.. LOL Well.. I don't know.. HAHA

It has been storming here mad the last couple of days.. and last night I woke up to a HORRIFIC sound.. it was almost like the sound of a TREE falling over.. a SNAP of a tree.... not just a small one either.. a HUGE TREE.. okay so that was the SOUND>> LOL but it was the thunder and lighting. WOW it was Wierd... I woke hubby to go check on the kids.. He said they were all asleep.. I thought for sure someone would be awake.. but then again.. they ALL sleep like Erin.. a Dead Snoring LOG. LOL Anyway... Got up this morning and Erin said the Satalite wont work.. and that the internet Router is dead... SOOOO SEEEEE!!!!!! That is HOW close that lightning struck... Erin is going to call the guys from the satalite company.. and I guess we will have to buy a new router before tomorrow because its game night for hubby to play with my dad.. Online Black Hawk Down.. So We are going to have fun time filling insurance papers I am sure.. thank goodness for Renters Insurance!! :) if you RENT be sure to GET RENTERS INS!!! and if you own.. I hope you have INS too. LOL :) anyway... so that is where I have been all week.. today.. There is still cloudy but in the distance I do see BLUE sky... and the look that the sun is out there somewhere maybe. LOL Hubby said We had 3 inches of rain yesterday.. and then when he woke up this morn to check it... we had 3 more inches from the Nite..
MOVING ON :).....
Since the weather has been so bad.. and because Shell was spending some due time with her hubby.. we didn't advertise a chat.. for last Tuesday.. and I think we may have to go AWOL on it for a little bit while I try and reorganize my things since my son is back in SCHOOL!!! WOOT:)
I also just finished 2 books.. yes I accutally put them together and ordered them off of blurb.. I am soo excited.. The first one is the SECOND one for my family.. the other one is a GRADUATION book for my brother. :) I am sooo happy.. Now I have an agenda for the rest of the week if the weather lets me. LOL

Okay... Need to catch up here.. :) I am potty training a younin.. Wow its so much easier with the Third child.. He sees Dad and the brothers go potty so I think he gets the hang of it. LOL OHHH I am potty training Beans:) its been going GREAT! He runs around the house all Naked.. and then runs up to me to tell me potty.. the Catch tho is.. he HAS to be naked LOL if I put underware on him.. he pees in em, If I put a shirt ONLY on him.. he will pee on the carpet. LOL If I leave him naked. He will come up to me and tell me Potty.. LOL Kyle did the EXACT same thing while he is was younger except he still needed some reminders... but HOPEFULLY by Thanksgiving or Christmas.. I will be buying MY LAST bag of diapers LOL WOOT WOOT:)I know I should be sort of sad too.. but I am more happy about how that will reflect on the Wallet LOL :)

So I figured I would blog before I started my to do list... this way I can't put blogging on my list and then feel bad because I didn't. LOL ITS been a horrible morning so far!! I slept in a little because I didn't feel very well last nite. No big deal just normal stuff.. but I let myself have a sleep in day.. which was cut short to my oldest son running down the stairs and Yelling "Mom, Guess WHAT POOT did!!!!" I rolled my eyes immediately knowing that prolly what he did couldn't be UNDONE!!!.... Sure enough... next words our of his mouth were....... "Mom he opened the fish tank... (dun dun duuunnnn) and took out a fish (WHAT!!!)" SOooooo Im immediately thinking wheres the dog? She dont need to my poor fish :(... and then I rush upstairs and see my poor poor poor little lifeless friend.
Okay Been a Great morning.. blogger kicked me out then I had to wait while they updated or somethin..
OKAY LAST NIGHT!!! ARG!!! Shell and I both woke up yesterday and couldn't get into DST.... We were so excited to host our very first chit chat... Welll as the day went on it was looking like it wasn't going to be... and sure enought IT WASN'T SOOO we are moving the That topic to NEXT Tuesday... Everyone is great here.. the boys are healthy and mouthy.. LOL and Erins eyes are doing fine now. Just get dry and tired but that is normal.. He is getting old you know.. LOL his birthday will be Oct.. OMGoodness he will be 32 I think.. I lost track after 21.. LOL I had to ask Erin the other day how old I was going to be.. LOL hahaha I just never kept up on that sort of thing.. I guess I should write it down on one of the 50 to do lists I have around here. LMAO :)

was unable to post this August 1st because power kept going out.. but here it is….Good Day everyone:) What a Great day it is!! I was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday and it only lasted a short time. I think it was the 24 hour flu or something… temp and muscle aches... I HOPE the kids don’t get it!!! My internet has been down. I was in bed last night and hubby said internet is down… I started to panic of course because IT’S THE GRAND OPENING TODAY!!! And I have to attend the chat. SOOO Hubby called them immediately this morning and it must be the whole town again. I am typing this entry right now in Microsoft office because I am trying to figure out what to do. LOL Obviously I can’t do much other than just wait for it to be fixed. I am getting very upset with the service we are getting from them lately.. Not personally wise... but connection wise. When I was taking classes online it was SOOO hard for me not to be paranoid about getting school work in and what if the connection goes out. And now... LOL how do you keep in touch with the necessities... the horrible part is being so reliant on technology. I can’t believe I have gotten so reliant on the internet for business, keeping in touch with family, shopping, SCRAPPIN!!! LOL AND friends I have met so many wonderful people in the digi world and through my blog and forums that I am going thru withdrawals... you know its like that ONE site that you LOVE to visit but its down for upgrades or renovations.. And you can’t stand not being able to get to it… Except my problem is I can’t get to ANYTHING!!! LOL
Alright do think you have heard enough of my whing and moaning about the internet?

FIRST prayers to those lost in the Bridge collapse in Minnieapolis. I have family up there so I called and for like 5 times it said all circuits are busy. Then finally go thru to his phone/answering machine. He called back then and I felt happy and relieved. LOVE YOU Lonny, Janet, Chandler!!!
