{4 boyz and a Mom 2}

Busy Sunday!

Well I know I have skipped Sunday.. Sorry about that! but we got up this morning and started right out with being busy. I started up the sprinkler to water my lovely grass. I mowed all day Saturday.. took about 3 hours this time. After some mowing we noticed that the deck on the mower must be offset a little.. so there was a SLANT in the grass for each row.. wow.. I am not a perfectionist but it was SOOO bothering me.. so hubby is going to take it back to the Mower guy to get it adjusted. You want to see what my lawn looks like? I took a couple pictures.. This is just the front yard. Not there is more in the BACK!!!

Soooo After I put my spinkler out.. WE all loaded up and Erin and Curtis went fishing. I have pictures of that too... Show those tomorrow. :)


Then we all went back home and pottied.. Then we went to BlueBird Nursery... what a lovely place I love to go down there and visit every year.. Of Course we always buy something.. Hopefully Tomorrow I will get them all planted and then I will take some pictures. I dont Usually like Annuals. Because they aren't as hardy.. and because If I spend money on flowers I want to see them bloom for years to come. Anway I will get pictures of them for you later:)

Alright, I will TRY and keep this short. As Some of you know I have been thinking ALOT of my future and my boyz. I LOVE TO LEARN. I get good Grades and I love to better myself. I have no problem with continuing school and learning. The part that I do have a problem with is the Loans... The school Financial Aide office had told us we were covered and would have nothing to pay.. LOL HAHAHAHA But forgot to tell us that we would still have to pay for the School loans. In other words I was lead to believe I qualified for enought grants that I didn't have to pay anything. dont get me wrong I signed all the papers and I knew i would have loans but.... I guess not knowing how much it would cost upfront fault of mine. my school loans are currently at around 1,300 dollars... And I have 3 years to go.. that would be 11,700... Alright see I am finding an excuse. The truth is... I Think I have found my passion.. I have decided to take a few classes at the local college here on Photoshop... I think It would help me pursue photography. I think I may also take a business class(with my husband? MAYBE!!!) to learn how to run a business.. :)

THAT all being said.. I THANK YOU YOU ALL for your wonderful comments and I really did take EVERYONE of them into consideration. My hubby read thru them all too and we debated the goods and bads of this all.. I have always been driven by the factor of money. But when it came down to it. Money isn't what keeps us a family.. Its happiness. :) And if all persons in a family are happy, Then the connection will always be strong:) If money weren't an issue I would keep going to school to MAKE money.. LOL :)

Also I want to say I TOTALLY Agree with you VAL.. :)

I always say the hardest part of anything is making a decision.Once it is
made...you seem to calm down about it some.:)Have a wonderful day today!

:( SORRY!!!!

alright.. Can you believe this.. I start classes on the 18th and I already have a paper due!!! 2 pages even!!! :( so I am sorry I have to cut this short. I want to give you your freebies.. but I can't stay and chat.. I have promised myself that I have to do my paper before fun..


I need your help. Please help me. I want to know from my readers what you think... As you know from my other post I am wanting to go into photography. I got a recommendation from a Real good photographer that spending my money on a photography school is really a waste of money. I should use my money for the equipment and such and that photography is a learned skill. I could learn better on my own by trial and error. SOOOOO....

I need your opinions on what I should do.. Should I stay at Kaplan and keep going to school and pursue Photography on the side.. Or should I devote all my time and effort into bettering my skills and maybe finding local photographers and learn from them? I am so torn.. I TOLD YOU I KEEP talking myself out of and IN TO photography and computer programming.. I am always sooo confused. LOL I know I can do Photography. I just am afraid to make the first step.. Like a baby letting go of the couch for the first time.. LOL

OOOPS no more I have a paper to write. LOL :)

In honor of an AMAZING PERSON:)

I have made a little kit for you all to share. I would appreciate it if you all stopped by Hummie's blog.. check it out for the most amazing things I have ever chanced to see. She is a VERY UNIQUE Person, So selfless. She has inspired me to make this small kit last nite. At the beginning of the year I have went Digi. the first place I found to be the most helpful was her blog. She has WONDERFUL tutorials and you can print them all out. (i did) She has Wonderful templates to help you make your pages much easier. She constantly is helping others and never has left a bad word on her blog to others. Definately the most kindest person you shall meet. If you have a question dont be afraid to ask becuase she will do her best to answer you if she can. If you are feeling down, visit her site for inspiration and for spirit lifting. She is very religious and I commend her for that. I have lost some of my faith over the years and have found myself jumping back to it due to her consistancy and Spreading of the faith. I have taken so much from her and its for the better sprititually and Scrappingly. LOL :) But I just felt I needed to give something back to her. AND I am now.. but I am also going to share it with all of you in hoping you will also visit her blog and have a a look around and LEAVE her SOME love that she so deserves:)

Surprise....

Well... I am still trying to decide if I should tell you the good news or not. LOL Alright I will tell you.. LOL :) first let me tell you the bad news.. Remember a while back when I said I was taking that course at the Eclectic Academy.... well If you want to know my opinion.. It wasn't even worth the $20 I spent on it. I was HORRIFIED When I read the review he had given me over my first pictures.. There was nothing Critique about it.. It was everything I did wrong and that was that. Not once did he ever say anything nice or a compliment on anything... My hubby said. dont worry about it, it is just ONE's Persons opinions.. and I understand that part... but When I am paying money NO MATTER the amount I expect a little more I guess. Not only that but the 6 week class turned into a 2 day course becuse the instructor replied to me and my 6 other classmates on the forum 1 time EACH and some of the students didn't even get a reply more than saying "Im tired and i will reply later"!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? First of all if you are trying to run a business that promotes learning and helping others to learn a skill or other.. PROMPT AND FRIENDLY are USUALLY a REQUIREMENT!!!!! Needless to say that is why I have not posted many more pictures.. and WHY i have not been updating you on that class. I even emailed them telling them what a waste of my money and time It has been and I wanted my money back.. Well they gave me the option of money back or another class.. and i was going to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was a fluke.. Well guess what.. It has been another few weeks and NO REPLY again.. I am just fed up with it and soooo happy that I didn't spend any MORE than $20.00!!!!!!

Which brings me to the Good news.. I think I have finally decided to go into photography. LOL I know.. But I wanted to Change majors at Kaplan University to Graphic design so I could learn more about fixing photos and the photography side of it.. As well as learn how to make some really great kits like Gina Miller, NinaScraps, Rikki, Manu, Shandy.. I want to be the best for all of you as well as myself. I have fought for this decsion for years and have always said I was going to switch but I would talk myself out of it. I have been in computer programming from the beginning. I did research on the careers COUNTLESS amount of times.. this is ALSO the reason I have the OOH (Occupational Outlook Handbook) In my side bar because I often think about changing majors but never follow thru... I always just talk myself out of it. ANYWAY... I had been thinking about it again.. and the job outlook for programmers is not MOVEING, its staying the same and which means the need for people in this feild is NIL!!! LOL Now photography is definately an area need basis.. If your area is needing one then your in luck.. LOL also now a days with the internet Places like Stock photography places BUY your photos.. I just thought of this.. I could also SELL My photos at DIGI Scrapbooking places to use in thier kits.. You know like Stock photography but ONLY focused on Digiscrapping.. HOW SWEET would that be? OKAY that is MY IDEA YOU SEEN IT HERE FIRST!!!!!!! LOL so if you see anyone doing it now.. you will know that they snagged my idea.. LOL Anyway, I live in small town Nebraska and all I hear anymore is how expensive it is to get your photos done and such. SOO I think I could do this with support from my hubby.. ( If he is capable of that, LOL) I think I would enjoy doing this sort of thing for the rest of my life:)

well, Due to some wonderful light... I am going to be making changes.. No.. my freebies will STILL be freebies dont worry about that. :) I am going to wait to tell you to make sure things are going as expected.. NOOOOO I AM NOT PREGGERS.. LOL But thanks to a special person I have decided to redirect my path. :) Stop guessing.. LOL :) I will tell you later:) I PROMISE:)

My TEETH HURT SOO BAD and they have for a few months now and have been waiting to get them done.. why? i dont know because hate DOCOTRS proabably... They dont seem to care as much anymore and would rather you just not be in thier office, seems like they have less time to talk.. anyone else have that problem and they DO NOT diagnose you the correct way.. anything to get to the next patient.... I know Dentist is a bit different.. but Not to be gross but I HATE the feeling of the needle going into the gums!!!!!!!! I know I can ask if they will use that laughing gas stuff but... then all I can see is the Dr rolling his eyes acting as if I am demanding or making a huge deal out of nothing.. I dont know sometimes I would rather just pull my own teeth out or diagnose my own sicknesses because I am Pretty sure I would be correct 94% of the time. I mean 92% of the time Its just Sinus infection or the Flu and you just need some antibiotics or something to help you get over it.. and they will prescribe it to you and make you feel like you just wasted thier time.. NO BED MANNERS anymore..

HONEST MISTAKE!!!! :(

Before I get too far into this.. I want to start out by saying I am sorry to all my Newsletter readers and to the owner of that site.. On my link for grab bag 6 i have no idea whose site that is. That is NOT my stuff and I am sure I mixed up my LINKs with the Freebies I was downloading at the time of writing the newsletter. I am sooo sorry.. THANK YOU to Christeph for noticing and letting me know.. that means ALOT to me and I am sure the owner of that website would Agree also :) I am truly sorry and It was an Honest mistake.. I guess we learn something every day.. My lesson for the day was NOT to download freebies when I am working on my THINGS... I am soooo sorry!!!!!

Well I dont know about taking pictures.. :( I tried to get ahold of my cousin and couldn't. Was hoping to do them yesterday.. but it was windy.. I guess we could have done some close up shots in doors. but Tomorrow is still supposed to be stormy.. I guess we will just have to play it by ear. Do you know how hard it is to get in touch with a teenager? whew.. I guess that is what I will have to look forward to in the years to come. :)

Stormy weekend!

This weekend is supposed to be stormy!!! ARG!!! I was wanting to go out and take pictures!! DARN.. :(

Well, today is Saturday.. Kids are still sick, I am getting there YUK. Luckily you all can't

SO the Vintage Ad kit is gone now.. I have to admit that one was by far my favorite..
I am still trying to come up with more kits that noone has thought of making.. ANY
Requests of Ideas? something versitile and right under our noses that noone has
thought to think of? LOL "thought to think" LOL Well I will take any requests and
put them on the poll and see what everyone thinks..

I should be going out this Sunday to take some of My little cousins Senior Pictures.
I am very excited. I want them to look nice and something she will treasure for
all her years. I dont remember getting mine done, but I still look at the pictures and remember
who I was back then. It may have been more memorable if I had any say in what
I wanted my pictures to look like. LOL But the guy sort of just did what he wanted
and then he charged me a hand and a foot to pay for them all.. What a JERK!

This also reminds me I need to upload some of my pictures from this last weekend,
and from Curtis' Field day.. :) you can tell the pollen is high because Curtis looks
really swollen in the face on some of his pictures. Poor guy. :)

So today is one of them days you wish you could have or SHOULD have stayed in bed.. Curtis stayed home from school and has a HORRIBLE cough..he has a cough sounding something like a donkey. I feel so bad for him.. I know he isn't feeling well because I made him his favorite toast and Jelly.. and was all ready to get his seconds ready.. when he come into the kitchen and said I am not really hungry mom.. and only took a few nibbles off the one piece I had given him... Now.. I know something is bothering him... Then at dinner time.. I said Curtis you want macaroni and Cheese or Chicken Noodle soup... sort of just see how sick he was.... he said
CHICKEN SOUP... NOW I KNOW he is sick... He wanted to go to his room and lay down so he
played Xbox for awhile, then fell asleep. :( AWWWW..

Now Kyle can throw up at the slightest bit of grossness.. He is definately not going to be in public service like EMT, Nurse, Doctor.. because he will not be able to handle it. LOL (He could be lawyer judge. Anything to support his OLD MAMA:) Anyway, he hit his leg on the bed and he was crying and ended up throwing up all over my COUCH! But we stuck him in the bath and laid him on the couch to watch blues Clues.. and he fell asleep..

CLINT!!! is the turd... I put him in his crib and he is SUPPOSED to take a nap.. and I have to say HE IS ONLY kid that loves his crib more than the WHOLE HOUSE! He loves to be in there. I put him in there and then next thing I know I smell some stinky coming from his door.. I thought the Dog was leaving me a present.... NOOOOOOOOPE.. Wonderful Present INdeed!! but it was from Clint.. Soooo busy as I am I cleared my schedule to come to the rescue of a child that doesn't want to rescued. LOL I cleaned him up refilled his chocolate milk, and laid him back down.. he must be much happier because I think He is finally asleep. LOL

Just past Midnight..

Alright... Let me see I have a WHOLE bunch to tell you.. first... I mowed my yard.. I am soooo IN LOVE with that MOWER!!!! :) Okay I, wish it were a brand new one but we are getting a GREAT deal for this one and its really not in bad shape at all.. Not much wrong with it all except a few minor scratches and they put these fakey looking flame stickers on it.. LOL but other than that.. I think I will have a new Vehicle LOL :) I mowed for 8 hours straight today... Except to use the potty.. and it got in the 60's.. and I GOT A BAD SUNBURN>>> Luckily I had some of that Aloe gel with that lidocaine in it.. awwwwwwwww sooo good and feels cooooooool.. until it wears off!!!

NOW you know i have been talking about the QP Exchange.. and Now i am seeing them pop up more and more.. Wellllllllll..... :) thanks to the Girls at Let's Scrap.. we have one going on... YAY!!!!!!! Now.. let me just shake some of this down to you all.... EVERYONE makes 1 or MORE QP's using the kit we picked.... And they all send them to ME:) and at the end... each person that made a contribution.. 1 or more.. gets them ALL!!!!! so if 50 people make a qp.. you get 50 pages!!!!!!!!!!!! And all you have to do is Put your picture in... and then..... YOUR DONE>> the best thing about it is.. You made one page.. and now you have a WHOLE BOOK... And its all CO ORDINATING!!!! How sweet is that? I KNOW HUH!!!! SOOOOOO PLEASE the more that do this challenge the more reward you get for participating... Next topic.. I wanted to tell you about the kids.. :) ALL I have to say... is we have warped in hyper speed to shy innocent little boys.. to HORRIBLY NOT INNOCENT TERRIBLE TRANTRUMS... LOL not just ONE but 2 little boys that are doing this at the SAME TIME!!!! And I am running out of suckers to bribe them with.. LOL :) Seems like if they aren't eating suckers they are eating Applesauce or hotdogs. MAN they are picky.. and I thought I was bad!!! Curtis is doing EXCELLENT in school.. He is in Kindergarden.. and he can read me a whole book!!! I didn't start reading like he is... until 1st grade.. I learned some words in K.. but Not at the level he is at. I really love this school he is at.. Or maybe its just the teacher:) she is the sweetest.. and SHE loves me because I have been going thru my paper scrapping stuff and some of the stamps and ink i dont use anymore.. I have given to her.. :) Teachers are so under paid and usually pay for that stuff out of thier own pocket. :) DONATE TO A TEACHER IF YOU CAN!!! :) Alright.. nuff advertising for the wonderful teachers.. :)

Great stuff today!!

Alright.. I am sooooo very happy!!!! I just purchased this program.. from this wonderful site... I have seen a few times but always just pass by it.. but you have TO TAKE A LOOK !!!!
GO TO Graffishop (yes you probably all have this.. but NOONE told me about it!!!!!!) for those of you that dont know.. there is video on how to install at the top.. WATCH IT!!!!! It is amazing.. All of the things in this shop... INSTALL themselves.. Yes many programs do that.. BUT!!! now go to the first link on the left side... "Graffi's Action FX for Elements" Or I think you can click my link too.. Anway.. the first item that shows up is "Add-O-Matic! for Photoshop Elements 5.0" Alright I didn't realize that is just for 5.0 but I am sure he has more than just that one.. Anyway.. You can download all your brushes and actions and all them goodies and this little program installs everything FOR YOU!!!! Many of the ones I could do myself but this WILL save me from having to go back and forth and all around. LOL ONE easy STEP you unzip your stuff and drag the icon and drop it ON the Orange little square how sweet is that? you only get to do 50 items at a time and you have to open each time you want to do something but it is FAST!!!! YOU should check it out.. I am just sharing things that I wish Others shared with me.. :) Hope this helps you all too :)

School starts this next Wednesday.. I have a writing class.. OMG they are going to kick me out because every other thing I will be writing is dot dot dot..... and smilie face:) LOL and LOL!!!!!!!! and Exlamation points TOO... and Capital letters!!!! OMG and that too!!!!! Oh wow.. I think I need some lessons on it... BUT that is why I am going to school.. to learn right? LOL :)Anyway so i may be busy for the next 10 weeks.. ( that is how long each term lasts... but I do learn alot!!! :)

Another day, another Freebie!!! :)

This is my beautiful cousin Lizzy:) she is so pretty.. we were taking test shots for her Senior pictures.. its hard not to make great pictures of her. LOL :) I used BONNIE's New kit Called Rain forest for both of these.. I think turned out GREAT:) I love the nature feel of them!:)

I took part in a challenge at Moo Two Designs. :) They have photography challenges and give you ideas of things to do layouts on.. Its pretty cool, since YOU KNOW I LOVE to take pictures.. :) Almost more than scrapping.. :) Here was my layout for that challenge. It was to take a picture of our scrapping space.. Well.. I think I have gotten all of the Jake's prom stuff done.. I was going to work on more coursage's but!!!! I couldn't stop playing the NEW kit I am going to be putting out real soon.. I am really loving this kit.. and I am leaving it so again It is versitile.. I hope!!!! I think its going to be a good one anyway.. I have the newsletter done.. and you know me.. I am going to be changing the poll again soon.. so I know which way I should look for the next kit.. I know I was going to do a sports kit.. and I need to work on it.. ( I AM NOT A SPORTS FAN!!) HELLO everyone:) I am going to make this short since I made yesterdays so LONG!!! LOL

OH some of you may have wondered what the Floral Picks were for.. but if you make a coursage or boquet... then you stick them in there as if you were making an arrangement to add color:)

Skipped

Yes.. I skipped Yesterday, Hubby stayed home from work yesterday so I had a busy day. I waited till Clint/Beans went down for a nap and then I went to town to get a tripod for my camera. If I am going to be taking pictures of my cousin for her senior pictures then I better have something a little better than my shakey hands holding the camera.. LOL :) They were much cheaper than I ever imagined.. I thought we were looking at something that was going to cost about 150-200 but it was 50.. so I was surprised! :) Anyway, I let the hubby have the afternoon to himself to be sick.

I also went to Salvation army and goodwill and got a load of solid color material (backdrops) for taking pictures.. SO at least now I can take ALL My own kids' pictures and maybe make them look decent. LOL! then I went to Hobby Lobby.. yes I know.. can't go there without spending a leg.. LOL but I did really good this time I think.. I bought muslin which was 98 cents a yard.. and I bought 12 yards.. AND it was 25% off!!! YAY!!! But I got so much because I also bought Dye.. so I make some red, blue, or black... Versitile then:) Anyway, When I start a hobby I start a it HUGE!!! HOW MANY OF YOU ARE LIKE THAT? LOL I know it can't just be me. LOL

Alright first I want to say I can't ever remember how to spell Receipe... Which brings up another comment from another reader. :) Yesterday I posted a Reciepe card.. And forgot to tell you why.. Well There is a Recipe area at Let's Scrap.. I promised myself I would take part in more than one challenge this month.. so I did.. one of them was a quote challenge which I did of Curtis laying in the grass.. and I did a template challenge which was the other pic of my family... Now the Reciepe cards are hosted by SAAB at LET"S SCRAP (LINK IN SIDE BAR) the theme was our favorite drink.. And a Colorado Bulldog was mine!! YUM :)

LOVED IT!

I FORGOT TO TELL YOU!!!! There are ALOT of papers on Sundays Post.. I didn't advertise it.. but ITS THERE!!!! They are a bunch of GREAT papers!!! :) You better get them before I forget them too. :)

I have to say that reading your answers to my questions yesterday was sooo delightful.. :) I loved every one of them. Thank you so much for sharing that with me.. :)

First I figured I should also answer the questions.. :)

I loved Rainbow Brite, Fraggle Rock, and Care Bears.... yes I was an 80's kid.. LOL :)

I loved playing on the circle thing that you spin it, then jump on... there would be like 20 of us all at the same time and we would say " boys push, boys push, boys push" And all the girls would be spining so fast.. Then the boys would say " Girls push, girls push, girls push" So on and so forth it was so fun!!! The boys really made it spin!!! LOL

My favorite outfit would have to be this little handkerchief tube top thing.. I was like 4 or 5 and it tied in the back and at the back of my neck.. and I wore them with my bell bottom pants.. I ware that top till I could no longer fit into it.. I wonder whatever DID happen to it? LOL

I loved to read your comments.. it was Seriously so much fun! :)

Well.. Where to start? I slept ALL DAY yesterday!!! I dont know what was wrong I was just REALLY REALLY REALLY TIRED!! LOL (for once) I took a little benedryl to get rid of the drainage in the back of my nose and throat.. and I guess it just kicked my butt. LOL I didn't wake up today Even until like 10!!!! My poor kids.. They must have been playing for about 1/2 hour before I got up.. Well Beans anyway.. lol But he loves to play in his crib so I dont feel so bad.. LOL Kyle was sleeping in bed beside me so I knew he was okay. I just feel bad for wasting the morning I guess. lol
