Well I FINALLY got around to putting the games that bottom:) We now have Solitare, Texas Holdem, sodoku.. some Clocks and I think thats it.. I would put gadget that helps you to learn to play guitar.. but I dont think my brother reads my blog.. Either way.. I will have something to do now :) LOL WOOT WOOT :) Also put a Weather button on my side bar so you can see HOW COLD i am right now!!!

This is going to AMAZE you.. but I did my FIRST EVER digital Layouts today!!! 2 of them... I would post them but I used an element on each of them and they were both a different designer.. and I dont know WHOSE they are!!!! And I dont want to put them up if I dont know whose they belong to :( SOOO my next layouts are ALL going to be from people I know... LOL OK? I have been collecting DIGI kits for a few months now.. and I usually have everything pretty organized.. But Of course when I NEED to be then... Im not.. Alright.. Moving on...
Alright.. I don't know about this kit. I guess if I had to grade it... I would grade my Simple Love kit as an A... but this one I would mark it as a C... School!
Well, its official.. I think Im going to be okay for school.. I was worried!!! I really really was!! But I think we are good. I think the biggest thing I was worried about was getting the assignment and then being stuck here to do it. (understand?) I mean the teacher would say Here.. and then you were on your own.. but they have ALOT of REFERENCE matierials online too. so if you dont understand.. they offer you free tutoring/links with more info/and they have ways we can talk to the other students in our class. Very Helpful!!! :)

FIRST DAY of School
Today is the First Day of School... wow the butterflies are flying in my tummy.. I am scared, nervous, anxsious.. wow i seem to be repetitive lately.. LOL i have been looking forward to this since I decided to go back.. :) Now.. Its just getting over the hump into.. School work mode. :)
Update on Mr. Mouse. Well Fortunately for me I won my kitchen back which ment Doing the dishes and regular Household hobbies.. LOL He is now rehoused to the Exterior of our Home. There are cats around our farm so maybe he got away.... But maybe The Cats are less hungry.. LOL We will NEVER know. The REALLY funny thing is.... he Didn't leave my kitchen!! he stayed there for 4 hours till My husband came home!!! he must have been REALLY lost!!

BEHIND!!
Well I am a little behind. Took Curtis to Hospital this Morning. Horrible Ear Infection!!! he had a Temp of 105.5. :( My poor baby!!! :( He is still running a low temp.. but it is much better than before. He is actually sleeping now. He couldn't sleep before because he was Shaking so much! :( My Poor little guy...
I have a Seminar tonight for school.. So we can learn how to use the schools system.. Then I have Class tomorrow Morning. Grandma Hasenkamp is comin over to watch the boys and help out during that time so I can concentrate on my first day of school. :) I can't believe its here!!! :)

So my cousin came over today.. love to have her over!! :) She got a few of my numerous snails for her sons tank!! :) i have MANY MANY to spare! Remember you can always bring some back if you Accumulate to many.. they multiply like RABBITS!!! We have a Clown Loach Fish that eats snails so it keeps the population under control.
Today has been SO ODD!!!! The weather is sunny one minute then you turn around then then it looks like a blizzard. Very peculiar.
I just had a laughable memory. One day Erin came home from work and came to the bedroom, WHERE!! I was laying with the baby (Clint) so he would take a nap. Erin layed on the bed by us and gave me a kiss. Curtis (4yo at the time) pops out, from sneaking in the bedroom, hiding by the bottom of the bed, He yells "JUST AS I SUSPECTED, Your makin sex." HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA to this day it makes me laugh.. I could be having a horrible day and that can brighten it for sure! LOL he is Definately a turd. LOL the funny thing is.... where did he come up with the "Just as I suspected" LOL ????? it was cute.

So what a weekend... Really Cold and Windy most of the Weekend. A little sun but not much to really write about. Been playing with my Camera and learning the settings and am really really loving it.. Erin and Sassy have been my focus... and Erin hates that job... But sassy is taking it as I give it.. she loves to be the CENTER of attention and eats it up.. such a poser.. maybe I can get you some pictures of her in her Tennis Dress and pajamas.. LOL :) she is so pretty.. :)
I know you all are prolly TIRED of hearing of the Camera.. LOL ok ok i will try and change the subject..
Curtis slept at Grandma Hasenkamps this weekend.. its been sooo quiet :( Yes.. We enjoy Quiet around here.. but.... Missing one of your babies is Much worse of a feeling. He can't wait to get his computer up and running He wants to get on TeamSpeak to talk to Zombie(Dad,Erin), Joker(Grandpa Kyle), and Hayfire(our family Friend). And they all can play Black Hawk Down Computer Game). You can see it here...

its a Pretty nice machine.. and it is pretty cool how the new ones have the fans in the front that is what is in the hole you see there.. there is mesh screen in there and you can even stick your arm thru that hole it goes thru to the other side.. Its pretty sweet..
School starts in a few days... wow.. I am really getting nervous now.. I am excited but my nervousness is in the forefront.
My sleeping patterns have been really wacky lately.. I have been taking naps then i stay up late at nite.. I know it is weird.. My dr told me to try Tylenol Pm so I have been.. and they said Benedryl wont hurt you and it can help you get to sleep. So not only is my nose dry but i can sleep.. I just have to remember to take it early enough so that I start getting sleepy at the right time.. LOL Not too early.. not to late.. LOL I just have tons of insomnia when I am not supposed to.. LOL
Well, Desperate Housewives and the Lword are on tonight.. So i best get a few things done before that.. :)

Alright to be honest I am VERY VERY tired.. I stay up last nite and played with Photoshop.... LOL and i didn't get to sleep until after 5:00 AM!!!! LOL I am soooo liking photoshop.. I was always thinking I dont think I would spend that much money on a program.. Especially since I didn't know if I was going to like it or not... LOL WELL I LOVE IT SO FAR!!!

My camera didn't come like it was supposed to yesterday. LOL Do packages EVER get there when they are scheduled? LOL NOPE!!! So I am waiting patiently..... tic toc tic toc... each passing minute....
Anyway.. i have been trying to revamp the bottom of my blog.. i want cool things down there.. SOOO i put a count down to the boys' Birthday's and a bible verse. I want to put a few games down there.. I know my mom likes sodoku.. and I can get that down there.. I would be will to take suggestions.. I can put chess, majong, black jack, video poker, word search, or which ever kind of game. I am excited tho. i would like to have things on my blog to keep you WANTING to come back.. OTHER than my Babies.. :)

The Illusionist- Beautiful Movie!! I think it was a perfect romance/mystery.. for the second nite in a row the Actor Paul Giamatti does an excellent perfomance. It was refreshing to see such a historical romance look and feel like you are there and that you are figuring out the clues along with the Inspector. I am not going to tell you about this movie but I do recommend you to see it.

Well I know this is going to surprise everyone, But we got the Computer YESTERDAY!!! And I didn't post yesterday I know this. The kids were turds. thats all im going to say. LOL
Wow today its foggy.. you can't see the cows in the pasture and they are usually right out the window. We call them all Curtis' Girlfriends. I tell him See There is Betsy, Ann, Gertrude, Beth..... LOL He gets a kick out of it. One day he even said yeah that one over there is Betsy. LOL :) He has a wonderful sence of humor! LOL
I keep wanting to open my school book but I told myself I was not going to until next Monday... WHY? because I am sure when start getting homework and such that i am going to be CONSUMED with school.. I love to learn and my nose will be in the book. So i am MAKING myself enjoy what i have now.

Miss Spiders Sunny Patch Friends-I love this one it not only lets the kids know about bugs and they all aren't scarey, but it also has good morals and lessons to be learned.
Max and Ruby-I dont care for this one much at all. Yes it has a Catchy tune to it. I dont like the way Max is so Whiney and Ruby is so bossy and acts like its her way or no way, and seriously WHERE are thier parents? I know its just a kids show but I dont see any lessons here other than learning to whine and bark out commands. LOL
Upside Down Show- OHHH I absolutely love it. Shane, David, Puppet, and Mrs. Boil. My kids have loved it from the beginning. I wish they would show more than just 4 episodes tho. They learn from this show. They also learn how to knock, vocabulary, interaction, pretending... and so much more. I think this is a cute show!!
Oswald- Its a Weird show. I think this show is good for the kids to watch it is the Learning Equivlent to Bugs Bunny. There are lessons in some episodes but it is more imaginative. But I guess my being an adult kicks in and Octopus, snowman, daisy, tree, can all go around and Talk but a Hotdog dog can only bark... LOL whats up with that? LOL
Blues Clues- Well I love this show and I have ever since Curtis was little (6 years ago). Lessons, learning, fun, imagination. I love how they apply everything to everday life. I also Prefer Steve to Joe. I do not however Like the side show of Blue as a puppet that talks and such, I think that it is a HUGE mistake. I think it makes the kids think like: how on earth can Blue talk now and not in the show?
MOOSE and ZEE- the commercial shows are absolutley GREAT!!! the kids Stop what they are doing and run to the TV and count the sides of a pentagon, triangle, square or they sing the happy birthday tune. They learn more in the commercials than anything. I even stop what i am doing and will watch with them.
Dora the Explorer and Deigo-I like them both. they learn a great deal but the boys just dont stay very interested in them. Maybe its they are too Cutesy.. My kids need something a bit Louder to catch thier ears. LOL I try to sing with Dora and Diego to get the kids interested but they usually just stop for a second, look, then go back to what they were doing.
This is what the boys usually watch. They are picky.. but they know what they like. :) LOL
Yesterday was a Huge day in School Yesterday, The kids were to number 100!!! so they had a big celebration and party. He came home with the Number 100 painted on his forehead. LOL it was really cute!!! I can't wait to show you some pictures!
So the computer came and Erin took the evening to set it up. He got his Game put on and all the updates and Teamspeak (able to talk to the other team players by a press of a button, for free!!) He playes every weekend. I used to play too but can you say the word ADDICT.. so I stopped playing and focused on Digi Scrapbooking.. and now I am addicted to that. LOL ANYWAY!!!, Erin got it all setup. Now he is ready to play with my Dad(Joker), Gene(Hayfire), and all his buddies from thier group. Here is a picture of my Dad...

I finally watch another movie last night. LADY IN THE WATER... What a nice movie. I just read a review on it and the didn't seem to like it. They said it should have stayed a bedtime story. But maybe they weren't getting it? I think It brings you to childhood again. By believeing you are recreating a childhood for yourself. As an adult we forget to Imagine and pretend and I think this story REALLY does bring you back to when we are younger and hearing a magical bedtime story. I have to say I really liked this movie and there are not many that I would watch again but I definately would watch this one again. And I have to add, I love this actress She is so very innocent looking and pretty. Bryce Dallas Howard is her name.

Good day..
Well today has been a day.. Long and filled with some excitement. My School book came today... wow.. Now I am getting really nervous. School starts next week and I am getting worried I have forgot how to learn. (Just my nerves I know) Then We caught a Mouse.. I seen it last night before I went to bed so I laid a glue trap down and hoped to catch him running along the wall.. Well, Erin figured I was just seeing thing by tonight since the trap was still empty.. BUT!!! the next time I looked there the little bugger was.. I caught him.. WHEW.. I can't stand having them around the house.. But, I understand that is what happens when you live on a farm.
So, school book, Mouse... OHHH DELL, yes the dreaded Dell.. Well our things are coming.. and Feb. is the time we are looking at for the Camera.. :( I know.. But When Told Curtis the NEW computer was coming.. he was Ecstatic. He can't wait till it comes and neither can Erin.. its like giving candy to kids.. OH WAIT they ARE kids.. LOL :) But yes.. they are both very excited.
Jeannette came over today and I showed her a few things on the computer and SHOOT.. I forgot to get you them Images off my computer.. I have a short memory.. I will get them done tho!!! I promise!! LOL

The Dreaded Dell
I GOT MY LINKS UP!!! WOOT WOOT!!Well, Since i am a Student again:) at Kaplan University... (I will put a link in the side to there later.) I get a computer at a discount price($275).. So we thought we would pass computers down in ranks and Curtis can have the Old one... Well... DO YOU KNOW how hard it is to ORDER things from them people? i sat on the phone for hours over the Weekend.. and I just got off the phone with them again.. Today it was 2 hours.. Just to order a PREMADE computer the ONLY changes I wanted made were a Radeon Graphics Card and 1g of RAM... And I got transfered twice and had to start over each time.. WHAT IS the DEAL with that????? Anyway, It ended up they wouldn't let me buy the computer unless Erin was the one that could say we could use his account.. SOOOO they put us in confernce call with Erin.. And I hear Erin and He can barely hear me..... and "Sir?.... Guy from Dell?.... Hello?.... Guy from DELL?.... " Nothing... I was yelling in the phone to talk to Erin telling him what was going on. Then Erin had to go(he was at work). He hung up and all i hear is the sound of being on the phone too long and not connected to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to my Mothers today, Since Curtis and I have been coooped up in the house for awhile I figured I would take him with me.. WONDERFUL Nebraska weather, It snowed here quite a bit and although it was sunny on the way into town.. Now we are back home and the snow is starting to make a come back again tonight. I wish and wish I could be out there taking pictures. But have other things that need to be done.
SO anyway, at mom's I had a talk with my brother about him going to school.. I love to talk to my brother. There is sooo much of an age difference between us.. 11 years!!! But I Hope that all the mistakes I made.. He will try and avoid.. I love my little brother.. and NOOOO he is not little anymore.. I guess I should say younger brother. End of Day...
Well, Curtis and I spent the day together doing some Art.. now.. I would show you some pictures but i have told you the problem with that before. LOL :) Darn Camera... anyway.. We were altering Cabinet photos.... :) it is so fun.. for those of you that dont know what they are Here is an Example..

Have you ever been to an Online Scrapbooking Chat? WOW!!!! don't be intimidated. I do NOT know why i have been for so long. All it is.. Is a bunch of people in a Chat room.. Chatting it up about this and that and getting hints and tips. You really dont even have to talk.. Even if you just come in just so you can get ideas or if you want a laugh. I can't believe i have been scared. I think I was thinking I had to contribute in some way.. I guess this just proves, You should try EVERYTHING just once(with in reason), you may end up liking it. :) Well the first one i went to.. I ended up winning a coupon... and it was a Wonderful designer..

Well, I hope the storm that is heading here is Not going to be too bad.. alot of Nebraska lost its power in the ice storm a few weeks ago and just recently had power restored.. this include alot of my family that lives in Pierce and that way.. We were lucky again.. bad weather seems to dodge the STORMO's.. I know LOL but when we we were kids, Aubrey and LaRee, my cousins, used to pretend that because of our names we could control things.. I dont remember clearly what they thought they could control. I think it was like shells or something.. LOL or the Ocean because shells were at the ocean. but that would be difficult living in Plains of Nebraska. HAHAHAHA ANYWAY.. I thought I could control Storm's because I was a STORMo.. LOL Unfortunately for me, I couldn't tap into that part of my heritage. LOL needless to say if you think your name predicts your future... LOL dont invest more than $1.00 on it.

Alright, I found one of the things I have been looking for on my list of things to do If you SCROLL ALLLLLLL the way down to the bottom.. you can sign up for a SUBSCRIPTION.... Okay so now that i have confused everyone.. Curtis woke up in the night and we cleaned his eyes out.. they were GLUED shut for lack of grosser words..lol :) Anyway.. we woke this morning.. and his eyes are 100 times better!! we cleaned out the left over gunk out of them but the Most of it is just a light pink.. and you can see they are still sore... But he is doing MUCH better!! :) Erin is taking Kyle out do the dump for trash and Curtis and I are going to an art project.. we have a few frames I want to alter and a few plaques. So.. i am off to Create.. Tomorrow or later i will put up some pictures. :)

alright i was going to post more but I dont think i can right now.. I am running out of time... I have not done my layout yet.. And Poor Curtis :( his Eyes are so bad.. :( I remember how bad it was when i was younger.. it Itched so bad.. but every time you go to clean them out it burned like someone was pouring salt in your scratches... and it burns when you put the medicine in your eyes.. but.. He is trying hard to be big about it.. :) He is my baby no matter how much he grows up.

Here we go...
Well today started off Horrible.. Woke up to Curtis saying "Mom, I have a bunch of Junk in my eyes." :( I hate those words.. Especially with 3 young ones. Anyway, I was hoping it was just Junk.. I sent him to school and they called and sent him home. Took him to the doctor sure enough it was the dreaded... PINK EYE!! Well yesterday.. my Camera took a Break.. Literally.. dont know what the deal is.. :( It takes pictures. but I think the Usb connection on the camera is burnt out. :( I take too many pictures maybe.. It was a good camera and I think i can still use it.. I can take the card out and put into something else...... like.... THIS!!!!
Isn't it PRETTY??? OMG i am sooo excited.. if you know me.. then you know i LOVE taking pictures.. and PHOTOGRPHY has ALWAYS been in the back of my mind.. Been gone a long time i know but now i updated the page to a better look. Update!!! First let me tell you about myself and my family.
My Name is Leslie. I enjoy about a million things.. I am a starter. Yes that is what i am going to refer to myself as... I have every intention of follwing thru but just getting to the finish is hard for me.. I love flower gardening and some vegies. I love the mountains and I still to this day would love to live there. I love horses, used to ride and own. I love Hobbies.. My newest love is scrapbooking. Not sure how many people know what this is but i am a hybrid Scrapbooker. I use paper, tape, ribbon, but i also love the elements from the digi world also and I combine the two. Anyway, I love altering things too. I can crochet but it never turns out. I can draw a LITTLE! Sometimes that dont turn out. Moving on... I am a Student of Kaplan University.. I am getting my Bachelors in computer Programming Classes Start soon.. I have been out of school for a few years (having the kids ya know!)
Next is Erin, My hubby.. He is a mechanic, propane driver, customer service, the emergency call guy... He is the Jack of all Trades at the local Co-op. But he also works for the Post office. He is a route driver. We are so Excited. He put in a bid for a full time job, Now we just have to wait.

Curtis, Oh what is there not to love? He is the oldest,6 years, and growing his own attitude which occasionaly needs some adjustment but he is overal a LOVING SMART CARING little man!!! He just started Kindergarden this year. He is absolutely loving the whole idea of school. He came home his first day of school and wanted to go back more the next day. He loves it. He is not a kid that can stay quiet so I dont know how the teach can deal with all his stories. Either way good luck to her. He has come home and said I have a girlfriend... But all three times it was a different girl. The little Turd!!
Kyle, Well Here is PISTOL in human form. Kyle is 2. He is NON STOP!!!! there is no other word for it. Oh his Nickname is Poot. Just so you know. He is the BOSS. I have officially taken back seat so he could run the show. I DO NOT know where he heard this but a few times a day I hear "Shuu Up Mom!" with a horribly angry face. We dont say SHUT UP in our house... We say "ZIP IT". But he only needs to hear things once before he starts to repeat it. I guess it could have been any of us.
Clint, Well my little baby, 1 year old,really hasn't come out of his SHY SHELL till recently.. Oh!! dont get me wrong he still is very shy of everyone else.. But at home with us and his brothers, he is now throwing tantrums, throwing things in anger(toys), fighting back when Kyle is mean to him. So not only do I have the beauty of children in my home, but the front seat in a Hell in the Cell match. Anyway, He is my dolly.. :) He is talking more and more everyday... And Yes.. he is MORE of a lover than a fighter, but you best not mess with his food!!!
My little Girl:
Sassy, My little Sassy has been with us almost a year.. she is my princess. Since i was Blessed with 3 little men, Sassy was my only hope to help with the amount of Testosterone in the house. She is a Papillon. She is a horrible watch dog. She barks as if we are getting killed Even when a door bell rings on the TV. So she goes outside when my soaps are on. (Can't miss my DAYS!!!) But she is my baby, and she means well.
Well, now that i have bored you this far, I am going to tell you why I wanted to start blogging. In my link section (when i get it up there) are going to be links to Sites that have Digi scrapbooking and i have found to have beautiful and clever artwork for scrapbooking that I love. Now, I dont own a digi program and i only do digi with PAINT that came with the computer but i can use it better than you can imagine... (Well good anyhow LOL) I want to show some of my work, i want to keep in touch with family and friends, I want to have a getaway.. I stay at home all day and sometimes i dont get to get out of house for weeks (we live in the country) And I just need to get feelings out or rant a bit. Some may make sense some may not.
